Our client, a leading medical device company, is currently seeking an accomplished Sales Representative to join the team. Here is an overview of the role:
1) Demonstrate technical credibility to consult with customers on technology solutions within the genetic analysis portfolio
2) Identify the best technology choice to meet the customer needs and strong command of competitive offerings
3) Develop and manage a business plan to meet and exceed business goals agreed upon by commercial management for the territory
4) Understand the scientific project and business needs of the customer to win the business
5) Promote and sell consumable offerings throughout the instrument sales process
6) Manage sales process, including sales forecasting, pipeline management and sales tracking through the use of salesforce system and other designated IT tools
7) Maintain a safe and healthy work environment
8) Comply with the company’s policies and procedures
9) Perform other duties as assigned
Critical Requirements
1) A university degree is required. Although all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field
2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)
3) Recent experience in the medical device industry is strongly preferred
4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in sales

Base Salary: Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience
