Job Description


Our client, a leading biotechnology company, is looking for a Supply Chain Manager to join their team. If you have the required experience and are up for a challenge, this could be a great opportunity for you. Responsibilities include:


1) Manage supply chain CMOs to conduct labeling, packaging and distribution of materials, oversee just-in-time labeling, review and approve associated documentation as an SME and manage storage and distribution of clinical trial materials via primary and secondary depots

2) Manage multiple IRT vendors and systems by working as an SME for supply chain from an operational perspective

3) Work with cross-functional teams and CMOs to develop and approve compliant country label text

4) Identify, evaluate, request proposals, select and recommend appropriate CDMOs for packaging, labeling and distribution to build a robust supply chain

5) Forecast the amount of drug needed for ongoing clinical trials and manage inventory of labeled supplies based on drug product expiry

6) Serve as SME to provide drug product related information to set up IRT systems for new protocols and maintenance of existing protocols, management of threshold levels, generation of manual shipments and disposition of quarantined materials, as needed

7) Work closely with internal groups and external CDMOs to establish, communicate and report on supply plans and their execution

8) Communicate potential supply issues, while collaborating in the development and implementation of mitigation strategies

9) Collaborate with quality assurance, CMC, regulatory and other relevant internal and external groups to understand and analyze capability and capacity for CMOs, both long and short-term, drafting capacity assessments to support demand changes


Critical Requirements


1) A university degree is required. Although all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field

2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)

3) Recent experience in the biotechnology industry is strongly preferred

4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in supply chain management
