Job Description

Our client, a leading pharmaceutical company, is currently seeking an accomplished Senior Brand Manager to join the team. Here is an overview of the role:

1) Develop and manage 4P strategies for the brands across categories

2) Work with the Marketing Team to ensure the effective and efficient execution of marketing plans

3) Develop deliverables that support brand marketing programs and campaigns

4) Lead, manage and develop team members to increase talent, marketing expertise and drive performance

5) Participate in the recruiting and selection of industry-leading talent to build a high-performing team

6) Manage product P&L, along with budget management and ROI evaluation

7) Work with leadership to develop strategies and opportunities for market positioning, line extensions and new products

8) Coordinate all aspects of new product launches relating to the brands

9) Design and develop advertising and promotional strategies which will meet and exceed the company’s goals and objectives

10) Partner, coordinate and communicate with Retail Marketing, Sales, Digital and e-commerce partners

11) Coordinate market research to identify opportunities for increased penetration and growth of existing products

12) Measure and evaluate marketing campaigns effectiveness and recommend improvements and changes

13) Analyze results of sales/marketing efforts for brands and make recommendations for change

14) Provide an executive summary to management and key stakeholders marketing plans, programs, performance, success stories and other key insights

15) Share best practices and organizational learnings with the broader team and company-wide, where appropriate

16) Recommend changes, additions and deletions to brands and existing product line

17) Work to establishing marketing forecast to be reviewed with manufacturing and sales

18) Coordinate label and printed material are produced according to approved procedures and customer needs

19) Coordinate promotion requirements with sales, manufacturing and outside vendors

20) Perform other assigned duties as may be required in meeting company’s objectives

21) Communicate effectively with other departments within the organization and function within a team environment

Critical Requirements

1) A university degree is required. Although all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field

2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)

3) Recent experience in the pharmaceutical industry is strongly preferred

4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in brand management

Compensation and Other Details

Base Salary: Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience
