Job Description
Our client, a leading medical device company, is currently seeking an accomplished Chemist to join the team. Here is an overview of the role:
1) Prepare, mix and document batches for production
2) Order supplies and maintain inventory of raw materials used
3) Maintain instrument calibrations
4) Comply with company’s policies and procedures
5) Interface with customers, as needed to develop customer specific products
6) Research and formulate products by using new additives for both wound care and cosmetic applications
7) Perform analytical testing on batch materials
8) Maintain a safe and healthy work environment
9) Perform other duties as assigned
Critical Requirements
1) A university degree is required. Although all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field
2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)
3) Recent experience in the medical device industry is strongly preferred
4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in research and development

Compensation and Other Details
Base Salary: Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience
