Job Description


A brilliant opportunity exists for an outstanding individual capable of fitting into this very rewarding Senior Process Engineer role. Our client, a leading pharmaceutical company, is looking to hire someone who can bring added value to the team. If you’re dedicated, energetic and detail-oriented, this could be the perfect role for you. Responsibilities include:


1) Apply technical expertise to maintain and improve daily manufacturing operations for current site production

2) Oversee technical leadership and technical transfer of process technologies into the commercial facilities

3) Design and write required product specifications and production records to define manufacturing processes

4) Plan, manage, execute and report on technology transfer activities and process validation activities

5) Provide documentation necessary for cGMP manufacturing in support of regulatory submissions

6) Identify, evaluate and implement process improvement activities

7) Direct efforts to eliminate nonconformance issues through process definition and optimization

8) Develop technical guidance and coordination with other engineering groups and manufacturing sites for product transfer, validation, and on-going manufacture

9) Assist or train with respect to equipment operation and process performance

10) Evaluate, specify and recommend new process equipment, data collection and process automation for the site

11) Establish required operating and performance parameters for new equipment

12) Investigate out-of-specification occurrences and make recommendations for corrective actions

13) Troubleshoot equipment and processing issues providing leadership in resolving these issues

14) Perform statistical analysis and interpret data from technology transfer, validation and engineering studies

15) Provide timely input to supervisors, project managers and operations personnel as to project activities


Critical Requirements


1) A university degree is required. Although all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field

2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)

3) Recent experience in the pharmaceutical industry is strongly preferred

4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in process engineering

Compensation and Other Details


Base Salary: Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience
