Job Description

Our client, a leading healthcare company, is currently seeking an accomplished Quality Assurance Manager to join the team. Here is an overview of the role:

1) Supervise the Quality Inspection Department, which includes coordinating inspection activities to ensure product and process compliance to acceptance requirements

2) Maintain an efficient customer complaint system to ensure complaints are investigated and resolved in a timely manner

3) Ensure that team members of all relevant functions are aware of any changes and issues discovered from complaints and proper corrections are taken

4) Develop, implement and maintain quality systems to ensure FDA and ISO compliance

5) Ensure the policies and procedures are reviewed and updated to meet current regulatory standards

6) Optimize quality systems to effectively identify, measure and reduce cost of quality activities

7) Act as a site champion of operational excellence, suggest and implement continuous improvement ideas throughout the value streams

8) Oversee all aspects of environmental programs, employee health and safety, develop, plan, establish, implement and maintain all health, safety and environmental programs

9) Oversee and maintain effective audit programs, including internal and supplier compliance audits, as well as external audits

10) Manage the material review board process for the company

11) Maintain an effective quality management system

12) Facilitate management review meetings and related data analyses

13) Engage with related functional managers on creating and updating procedures, work instructions, specifications and test methods as per QMS requirements

14) Oversee establishment of manufacturing quality plans for transferring product designs to manufacturing

15) Oversee process validation activities, including calibration and GMP training programs

Critical Requirements

1) A university degree is required. Although all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field

2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)

3) Recent experience in the healthcare industry is strongly preferred

4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in quality assurance management

Compensation and Other Details

Base Salary: Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience
