Job Description


Our client, a leading biotechnology company, is currently seeking an accomplished Sales Development Representative to join the team. Here is an overview of the role:


1) Communicate with clients to understand their needs and explain product value

2) Educate, instruct and upsell all assigned and newly generated accounts in an assigned territory

3) Build relationships with clients based on trust and respect

4) Ensure customer retention by providing unparalleled customer service

5) Provide ongoing service and problem resolution to customer base

6) Collaborate with internal departments to facilitate client need fulfillment

7) Collect and analyze data to learn more about consumer behavior

8) Meet and exceed quarterly goals on a regular basis

9) Differentiate products from the competition in order to maintain and increase growth

10) Keep accurate records pertaining to inventory and account notes

11) Maintain updated knowledge of company products and services

12) Resolve complaints and prevent additional issues by improving processes

13) Identify industry trends

14) Act as a client advocate with a focus on improving the buyer experience

15) Follow the company’s policies and practices as outlined in all company resources, including, but not limited to, safety and compliance guidelines

16) Perform other duties as assigned


Critical Requirements


1) A university degree is required. Although all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field

2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)

3) Recent experience in the biotechnology industry is strongly preferred

4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in sales development

Compensation and Other Details


Base Salary: Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience
