Job Description
Our client, a leading biopharmaceutical company, is currently recruiting a Director of Drug Discovery who will infuse the Drug Discovery Team with their talent, energy and leadership skills. 1) Provide technical leadership for new drug identification, design and pre-clinical development on antibodies and other biotherapeutics
2) Provide scientific inputs to support best strategic positioning of the company’s pipeline
3) Participate in strategic discussions with company leadership and with external advisory board members
4) Contribute to other strategic initiatives to impact on innovation and growth
5) Develop R&D budget and timelines
6) Manage collaborative R&D activities with industrial and academic partners, as well as licensing
7) Collaborate and coordinate with other departments for developing robust and high-quality products
8) Generate, manage, evaluate and maintain critical data in a highly organized manner
9) Write a scientific proposal, progress report to support the corporate goal, as well as presentations to outside of the company
10) Perform other duties as assigned
Critical Requirements
1) A university degree is required. Although all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field
2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)
3) Recent experience in the biopharmaceutical industry is strongly preferred
4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in drug discovery management

Base Salary: Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience
