Job Description


Our client, a leading pharmaceutical company, is currently seeking an ambitious Quality Manager to help lead their team. This is a unique opportunity for a highly motivated candidate with a go-getter attitude and a drive to succeed. Responsibilities include:


1) Set-up, maintain and perform various manufacturing related quality control activities as required for a GMP compliant fill and finish operation

2) Develop protocols in compliance with IQ, OQ and PQ requirements and industry guidelines as related to quality control manufacturing activities

3) Develop SOPs for all quality related activities as required for a GMP compliant fill and finish operation

4) Oversee the contract manufacturing facility for compliant release of final products

5) Lead the timely resolution and successful closure of deviations, CAPAs, Investigations and NCRs

6) Design and implement protocols to validate and monitor the various quality, manufacturing activities and systems, such as, WFI and air handling in compliance with industry guidelines

7) Manage vendor, client and FDA audits and initiate the appropriate documentation required

8) Train and supervise all subordinate employees for all quality control activities within manufacturing areas

9) Perform all duties and all quality control/assurance activities according to the applicable guidelines

10) Perform various quality duties and initiate appropriate documentation, as required

11) Oversee other QA processes, such as receipt and release of raw materials and automation activities, and management of other ongoing projects

12) Oversee the environmental monitoring program for the manufacturing facility

13) Perform technical evaluation of quality control related information and provide management with status reports, including information required for decision-making purposes.

14) Initiate problem-solving and technical decision-making commensurate with level of experience

15) Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned


Critical Requirements


1) A university degree is required. Although all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field

2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)

3) Recent experience in the pharmaceutical industry is strongly preferred

4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in quality management
