Job Description

Our client, a leading software company, is currently seeking an accomplished Team Leader to join the team. Here is an overview of the role:

1) Lead and manage a team responsible for several aspects of operational delivery to ensure that they have the skills and motivation to deliver a best in class service

2) Use capacity planning tools to ensure the team is as productive as possible at all times

3) Facilitate resource sharing across the Global Operations Department to ensure shared performance targets are met

4) Manage all people processes, including recruitment, performance management, rewards and recognition, employee development, initiatives and dealing with any performance issues in a timely and sensitive manner

5) Ensure key employee metrics are being used and understood to enhance performance

6) Work with other team leaders and the Head of Department on ad-hoc projects which will improve performance, quality or productivity and or any other business initiatives

7) Represent the team, department and organization at internal and external client meetings on a need to basis

8) Escalate client issues to the client project contact and the Head of Department in order to prioritize solutions in the most efficient manner

9) Provide daily, weekly and monthly key performance updates to the HoD around volumes, productivity, availability and quality

10) Ensure core processes run seamlessly for example to ensure compliance with clients and the company SOPs and associated documents as per the quality management system

11) Ensure the relevant project documentation and support material is in place, maintain and fully implement for assigned projects

Critical Requirements

1) A university degree is required. Although all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field

2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)

3) Recent experience in the software industry is strongly preferred

4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in team management

Compensation and Other Details

Base Salary: Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience
