Job Description


Our client, a leading software company, is looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team. If you have the required experience and are up for a challenge, this could be a great opportunity for you. Responsibilities include:


1) Manage own sales territory and achieve annual and quarterly signings and revenue target quotas

2) Generate new clients through cold calling, networking, business partnerships and sales activity to promote services

3) Drive the global acquisition of new client accounts for clients with offices within allocated territories

4) Develop proposals and budgets for the sales opportunities within the assigned territory and ensure that the proposals and budgets go through the appropriate review and approval process as per the sales manual and other policies

5) Act as a client point of contact and ensure the on-going client satisfaction throughout sales process and where applicable operational contract

6) Manage the sales process from lead generation, proposal through to contract negotiation and deal closure involving client solutions and other company resources, as appropriate

7) Participate in all global and regional sales meetings

8) Ensure that company’s website is kept up to date on a regular basis and is accurate at all times as per the sales manual

9) Perform other duties as assigned


Critical Requirements


1) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)

2) Recent experience in the software industry is strongly preferred

3) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in business development management

Compensation and Other Details


Base Salary: Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience
