Our client, a leading machinery and tools company, is looking to hire someone who can bring added value to the team. If you’re dedicated, energetic and detail-oriented, this could be the perfect role for you. Responsibilities include:
1) Write the safety manual, policies and procedures
2) Manage quality standards and programs for all areas of production
3) Manage PM plans and schedules, equipment and tooling and planning for future production
4) Manage overall facilities of grounds, capital improvements and facility planning
5) Manage timely data collection to update operations metrics to achieve productivity targets
6) Reduce cost per unit, eliminate errors and deliver excellent customer service
7) Work closely with Legal and Safety departments to make sure activities remain compliant
8) Oversee materials and inventory management
9) Conduct budget reviews and report cost plans to upper management
10) Perform other duties as assigned
Critical Requirements
1) A university degree is required. Although all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field
2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)
3) Recent experience in the machinery and tools industry is strongly preferred
4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in operations management

Compensation and Other Details
Base Salary: Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience
