Job Description
We are seeking a driven individual with a passion for the plastic industry. One of our clients is looking to add a strong CMM Operator to their team. Responsibilities include:
1) Maintain the coordinate measuring machine
2) Test and calibrate equipment
3) Precisely measure and program CMM for measurement reports
4) Read blueprints and renderings
5) Perform layouts to GD&T
6) Write or edit programming for new projects
7) Assist in the preparation of production part approval process submissions
8) Understand the acceptance/rejection criteria in accordance with customer specifications
9) Mount and install tools, attachments, and fixtures
10) Perform in-process and final inspections
11) Document and communicate production issues
12) Keep a record of inventory
13) Follow safety protocols
Critical Requirements
1) A university degree is required. Although all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field
2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)
3) Recent experience in the plastic industry is strongly preferred
4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in engineering
