Estimator

Job Description

We are seeking a driven individual with a passion for the facilities services industry. One of our clients is looking to add a strong Estimator to their team. Responsibilities include:

1) Prepare accurate painting takeoffs for commercial painting projects, and write estimate proposals that include the work scope along with pertinent clarifications and exclusions related to the bid

2) Understand the project and its requirements

3) Determine key variables for cost and other estimates

4) Conduct research to obtain data on labor costs, materials and production times

5) Use software for data analysis, forecasting and budgeting

6) Obtain and review offers and quotes by subcontractors or vendors

7) Perform risk analysis

8) Create and submit estimate reports or bids to appropriate persons

9) Build relationships with key vendors

10) Perform other duties as assigned

Critical Requirements

1) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)

2) Recent experience in the facilities services industry is strongly preferred

3) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in estimation
