Job Description

We are seeking a driven individual with a passion for the distribution industry. One of our clients is looking to add a strong Regional Sales Manager to their team. Responsibilities include:

1) Manage key national and regional accounts

2) Prospect, deliver and manage targeted new key accounts

3) Deliver the sales plan

4) Be accountable for volume and distribution goals

5) Provide direction and leadership to broker business managers to achieve sales objectives

6) Manage all administrative projects to include division tracking, goals, trade funds, expense management, deductions, broker evaluations and CRM

7) Manage forecasting volume, new account distribution, new items sell-in and displays

8) Work with stakeholders to develop long and short-term account strategies and business plans

9) Establish goals and priorities for profitable growth in top accounts

10) Be the expert in the designated accounts and communicate ideas, trends and updates internally

11) Achieve specific sales and distribution objectives on each account, while maintaining spend goals

12) Monitor trade spend and ongoing involvement with channel trade spend criteria and budgets

13) Involve with major account promotional spend evaluations, as needed

14) Participate in annual planning

15) Develop volume objectives to ensure accuracy and timelines are met to help guide and develop channel and key account strategies

16) Build relationships with the Senior Executives and all key buying influences with strategic accounts

17) Manage and participate in trade events

Critical Requirements

1) A university degree is required. Although all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field

2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)

3) Recent experience in the distribution industry is strongly preferred

4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in sales management

Base Salary: Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience
