Job Description


We are seeking a driven individual with a passion for the packaging industry. One of our clients is looking to add a strong Business Development Manager to their team. Responsibilities include:


1) Develop new customer relationships by promoting company's products through a variety of means, including cold calling and on-site visits

2) Maintain existing customer accounts with exceptional customer service to ensure high customer satisfaction, positive long-term relationships and repeat business

3) Become proficient with understanding a variety of products and markets

4) Help to identify emerging market and customer trends and opportunities

5) Understand, drive and deliver ROS financial results through defined metrics

6) Drive forecast accuracy for improved business results

7) Create and execute a strategic account plans

8) Orchestrate and lead key business negotiations

9) Develop professional business relationships with a wide array of people and businesses through strategic sales practices and actions

10) Seek out and attend customer audits, trials with Technical Service, Field Sales Representative and directors, as needed

11) Maintain close communications with Marketing and R&D teams to recommend and promote new applications and technologies of company’s flexible products to assigned customers and prospects

12) Participate in trade shows and attend market segment sales, customer and pricing meetings


Critical Requirements


1) A university degree is required. Although all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field

2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)

3) Recent experience in the packaging industry is strongly preferred

4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in sales management

Compensation and Other Details
