Job Description

Our client, a leading building materials company, is currently seeking an accomplished National Account Manager to join the team. Here is an overview of the role:

1) Provide program suggestions that help maintain customers’ profitability and exposure with company products in their marketplace by implementing the use of company sales tools at the customer level

2) Create and maintain personal business relations with the key personnel for the customer base assigned

3) Employ consultative sales techniques, such as quarterly and annual reviews with customers middle management

4) Provide various sales tools to customers

5) Analyze the reports and develop action plans for short- and long-term solutions of problems and to duplicate the success of other customers assigned

6) Develop an annual sales and profit projection and plan for achieving those projections for the following year’s sales by customer

7) Provide travel expense reports as prescribed in the employee handbook

8) Comply with company’s policies and procedures

9) Perform other duties as assigned

Critical Requirements

1) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)

2) Recent experience in the building materials industry is strongly preferred

3) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in account management
