Job Description
Our client, a leading IT company, is currently recruiting a VP of Finance who will infuse the FinanceTeam with their talent, energy and leadership skills. 1) Communicate financial and operations results to Executives, Field Operations and Department heads
2) Communicate, influence and direct key areas of emphasis to the operations organization on a weekly and monthly basis
3) Prepare ad hoc financial, operational and marketing analysis
4) Oversee budgeting process, weekly and monthly reporting to private equity ownership and the monthly accounting close
5) Understand GAAP and internal control processes
6) Manage tax planning and compliance with all federal, state and local corporate, payroll and other applicable taxes
7) Provide project management on key corporate initiatives and payroll and accounting systems efforts
8) Direct personnel development of staff by delegating responsibility, guide through projects and conduct direct report reviews
9) Perform other duties as assigned
Critical Requirements
1) A university degree is required. Although all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field
2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)
3) Recent experience in the IT industry is strongly preferred
4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in financial management
