Job Description


Our client, a leading consulting company, is currently recruiting a Vice President of Business Development who will infuse the Business Development Team with their talent, energy and leadership skills. 1) Represent the company’s products and services, starting with a deep and comprehensive understanding of the healthcare revenue cycle management process and value offering

2) Meet annual sales goals through the successful implementation of sales and marketing strategies and tactics

3) Generate leads and build relationships by planning and organizing a daily work schedules to call on existing and potential clients

4) Communicate with the Management and Client Services team to successfully conduct product and services demonstrations

5) Communicate closely with the Management to complete client proposals that include a contract, roll out plan and pricing

6) Develop and implement a sales action plan that takes advantage of business relationships

7) Maintain working relationships with existing clients to ensure exceptional service and identification of potential new sales opportunities and client needs

8) Identify appropriate prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls and manage sales cycle to close new business in all service categories offered

9) Possess in-depth product knowledge and be able to conduct demos and communicate client objections

10) Prepare professionally written, complete, concise and accurate reports, proposals and other documentation as required for executive-level presentations

11) Achieve sales goals by assessing current client needs and follow a defined selling process with potential buyers, often utilizing product demos and presentations

12) Coordinate with other Sales directors to perform market research and regular competitor monitoring


Critical Requirements


1) A university degree is required. Although all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field

2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)

3) Recent experience in the consulting industry is strongly preferred

4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in sales management

Compensation and Other Details


Base Salary: Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience
