Job Description

Our client, a leading distribution company, is currently seeking an ambitious Outside Technical Sales to help lead their team. This is a unique opportunity for a highly motivated candidate with a go-getter attitude and a drive to succeed. Responsibilities include:

1) Sell company’s distribution product lines and designed systems for an assigned territory

2) Develop new accounts by planning and performing sales calls in territory, assess customer needs, close orders and follow up on all related activities

3) Prepare quotes for customers, as requested

4) Attend regularly sponsored vendor training programs in order to become proficient on all company’s product lines

5) Solicit new business opportunities with new and existing customers along with developing and maintaining a working target list for future growth

6) Work in a team environment coordinating with others in customer service, systems and field engineering and sales management departments in providing the best solutions and support to customers

7) Arrange vendor visits to customers, product demonstrations and factory visits, when needed

8) Comply with the company’s policies and procedures

9) Perform other duties as assigned

Critical Requirements

1) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)

2) Recent experience in the distribution industry is strongly preferred

3) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in sales
