Job Description


Our client, a leading machinery and tools company, is currently seeking an accomplished District Sales Manager to join the team. Here is an overview of the role:


1) Manage overall company's relationship with customers in assigned territory to develop opportunities for products, services and technologies to meet current company and department goals

2) Manage third party sales channels within the assigned region

3) Coordinate with company's personnel to ensure appropriate customer support

4) Develop new account opportunities within the assigned territory and assigned group of independent company manufacturer’s representatives

5) Provide weekly and monthly sales activity reports to a defined group of company’s personnel

6) Provide market reports and competitive intel on a monthly basis or as needed

7) Provide sales forecast including expenses for annual profit plan

8) Coordinate all territorial account activity and serve as the company’s primary focal point

9) Perform at a high level on the company’s objectives program

10) Adhere to the company's policies and procedures as stated in the quality system documentation manual, the safety manual and the employee handbook.

11) Perform other duties as assigned


Critical Requirements


1) A university degree is required. Although all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field

2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)

3) Recent experience in the machinery and tools industry is strongly preferred

4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in sales management

Compensation and Other Details


Base Salary: Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience
