Our client, a leading logistics company, is looking to hire someone who can bring added value to the team. If you’re dedicated, energetic and detail-oriented, this could be the perfect role for you. Responsibilities include:
1) Work effectively with people in a cross-functional environment
2) Coordinate international freight movements to and from the US as well as domestic trucking and air freight
3) Respond to shipping complaints, lost items and damages
4) Coordinate all shipments for all locations
5) Assist logistics coordinator, warehouse specialists and other team members when needed to meet schedule
6) Communicate with carriers regarding service levels
7) Update shipping system with rates, surcharges and service standards
8) Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with company’s processes
9) Update service-level reports and provide analysis on findings
10) Inform the management of ongoing performance issues
Critical Requirements
1) A university degree is required. Although all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field
2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)
3) Recent experience in the logistics industry is strongly preferred
4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in logistics and distribution

Compensation and Other Details
Base Salary: Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience
