Job Description


Our client, a leading insurance company, is currently recruiting a Vice President of Business Development who will infuse the Business Development Team with their talent, energy and leadership skills. 1) Recruit new advisors from a “2nd chair” position

2) Increase enterprise revenue on a quarter over quarter basis by fostering advisor relationships and driving new sales opportunities

3) Create and execute a sales strategies to achieve sales goals

4) Schedule and conduct quarterly and annual planning meetings with “Chair 1” for all assigned advisors

5) Leverage advisor relationships to create referral opportunities on a consistent basis

6) Make proactive sales calls to share life, annuity and AUM planning concepts and sales successes

7) Drive sales of our core product and portfolio offerings as well as the training our company provides

8) Remain current on industry, technical and products’ knowledge

9) Complete sales training programs as directed by the manager

10) Drive advisor attendance to company training and marketing events

11) Follow up on any new business issues and coordinate processing with Internal New Business teams

12) Assist in enterprise strategies to drive more sales to training company, IMO and RIA

13) Comply with all the Management and leadership instructions in a prompt and timely manner


Critical Requirements


1) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)

2) Recent experience in the insurance industry is strongly preferred

3) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in business development

Compensation and Other Details


Base Salary: Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience
