Job Description
Our client, a leading distribution company, is currently seeking an accomplished Production Supervisor to join the team. Here is an overview of the role:
1) Ensure a proper shift changeover is performed and communicated
2) Perform raw material check in and supplies inventory
3) Manage production and labor according to schedules
4) Communicate shift performance to targets and objectives
5) Assist with coaching and training of team members to ensure standardization of work methods
6) Aid in product and process corrective actions, complaint investigations and communication of customer feedback
7) Aid is continuous improvement activities and processes
8) Monitor production trials, special orders and processes
9) Ensure that each team member maintains plant cleanliness standards
10) Communicate changes related the processes, products, methods, machines and business
11) Perform system audits, as needed
12) Participate in improvement committees
13) Perform other duties as assigned
Job Qualification
1) A university degree is required. Although all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field
2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)
3) Recent experience in the distribution industry is strongly preferred
4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in production supervision

Base Salary: Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience
