Job Description
We are seeking a driven individual with a passion for the transportation industry. One of our clients is looking to add a strong Sales Representative to their team. Responsibilities include:
1) Develop new business through a variety of prospecting and development techniques, including cold calling and making appointments
2) Build a portfolio of customers in the transportation and logistics industry
3) Comply with company’s policies and procedures
4) Build and maintain relationships with customer accounts through regular contact
5) Determine and evaluate customer needs, participate in face to face meetings, offer solutions, and provide customer follow ups
6) Collaborate with the Operations Team to understand current customer’s needs and resolve any issues and concerns
7) Create weekly sales reports and account profiles, as needed by the Supervisor
8) Respond to customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and ethical manner
9) Assist with collections
10) Participate in proactive Sales Team efforts to achieve company’s goals
11) Read, analyze and interpret pricing agreements, financial reports and legal documents
12) Respond to common inquiries and complaints from customers and members of the business community
13) Perform other duties as assigned
Job Qualification
1) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)
2) Recent experience in the transportation industry is strongly preferred
3) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in sales

Compensation and Other Details
Base Salary: Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience
