Caloundra | Full-time | 38 hours per week

STEPS is seeking an experienced and people-focused Training Manager to lead our Caloundra-based team.

At STEPS, we empower individuals to build confidence, skills, and independence while creating positive social impact. In this role, you will provide oversight and leadership to staff, and play a key role in ensuring high-quality training delivery, strong student engagement, and compliance requirements.

Working closely with internal teams, industry partners, and community stakeholders, you'll be maximising training opportunities while supporting organisational performance and student outcomes.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Leading and supporting a multidisciplinary training and participant support team
  • Supporting workforce planning, recruitment, performance management, and employee development
  • Monitoring operational performance, student outcomes, and service quality
  • Driving quality training delivery that meets student needs and national requirements
  • Contributing to community engagement initiatives and the growth of STEPS education programs

What You'll Bring:

  • Demonstrated leadership experience within training, education, or workforce environments
  • Strong customer service and stakeholder relationship management skills
  • Qualifications in Business or Business Administration (highly regarded)
  • Mandatory:
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or higher degree in adult education
  • Current Working with Children Check (blue card) and NDIS Worker Screening Card (yellow card)
  • Valid open driver's license and valid Australian working rights
