Human Resources Advisor

Caloundra, Sunshine Coast, QLD | Permanent Full Time

In this role, you'll work closely with leaders across the business, providing practical advice and guidance while helping to foster a positive, compliant, and high-performing workplace culture.

About the Role

Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, you'll support a diverse portfolio of HR activities across our disbursed geographical locations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing employee relations matters and workplace investigations.
  • Supporting performance management, disciplinary processes, and probation reviews.
  • Coaching and guiding managers on people management practices.
  • Preparing HR correspondence, reports, and workforce documentation.
  • Supporting compliance, audits, and employee record management.
  • Analysing workforce data and maintaining HR systems.
  • Contributing to HR projects, organisational change initiatives, and process improvements.
  • Assisting with recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle activities.

No two days are the same. One day you may be conducting a workplace investigation, the next coaching a manager through a complex employee matter, supporting the implementation of our new HRIS, or identifying opportunities to improve systems and processes.

About You

You are a proactive and adaptable HR professional who builds strong relationships and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

You'll bring:

  • Experience in a Human Resources Advisor, HR Business Partner, or similar role.
  • Sound knowledge of employee relations and contemporary people management practices.
  • Confidence navigating complex workplace matters and investigations.
  • Experience working with HR systems and workforce reporting.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • A collaborative, solutions-focused approach with a commitment to continuous improvement.

Mandatory Requirements

  • Current Australian work rights.
  • Current Open Driver's Licence.
  • Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain).
  • Ability to successfully obtain a National Police Check.
