We are currently seeking a Manager Financial Planning and Analysis to join our team. This is a permanent full time position based in Brisbane.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer you will be responsible for leading the financial planning, analysis, and performance management of the Company’s gold mining operations in Papua New Guinea. This role provides critical financial and business performance insight to support strategic decision-making, operational performance, and capital allocation.

 The opportunity

• Coordinating the annual budget, reforecasts, and long-term planning processes (Life of Mine plans).
• Developing and maintaining robust financial models incorporating production, cost, and capital assumptions through liaising with the mine site and project teams.
• Partnering with technical services, operations, and commercial teams to ensure alignment of financial forecasts with mine plans.
• Reviewing and improving high-quality monthly management reporting, including variance analysis against budget and forecast.
• Providing actionable insights on production, cost performance, and capital expenditure.
• Supporting site and corporate leadership with clear, data-driven analysis.
• Providing financial evaluation of investment opportunities and cost optimisation initiatives.
• Assisting the Chief Financial Officer with Board and investor reporting materials.
• Translating complex financial information into clear insights for non-financial stakeholders.
• Partnering with external parties, both existing joint venture partners and otherwise, including preparing operational and project updates and market facing material.
• Improving data quality, governance, reporting automation, and forecasting accuracy.

 We would love to hear from you if you have​:

• CA/CPA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline
• Extensive experience in financial planning and analysis, commercial finance or similar roles.
• Relevant experience with life of mine planning, cost modelling, and capital project evaluation.
• Have worked in mining, resources or heavy industry.
• Exposure to international or remote operations would be favourable.
