RESPONSIBILITES
- Monitor and maintain compliance with Company safe operating procedures.
- Providing efficient and effective support through mobile equipment operation at the Simberi Process Plant to ensure that the plant can always operate optimally.
- Contributing to the Team to ensure that the Processing Department delivers to plan in respect of production, gold recovery and cost per tonne.
- Communicate employee concerns to Supervisor.
- Recommend improvements to safe operating procedures.
- Participate and promote Safety activities and inspections.
- Perform other duties as directed.
- Promote awareness of equipment housekeeping and safety inspection of the workplace.
- The principal objective for all employees is to aim and work towards continued improvement for an accident-free workplace.
- Manage best use of time and other resources to achieve required outcome.
- Ensuring own work performance meets role requirements and taking appropriate actions to develop in current role and future roles
Qualifications, Skills and Experience required
- Behaviour consistent with St Barbara’s Values
- A technical training/qualification in related field.
- At least five years relevant, successful work experience.
- High integrity, honesty, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Current PNG Driver’s License (Class 7)
- Front End Loader Operator Ticket
- Experience in stockpile management
