We are currently seeking a Mobile Maintenance Foreman to join our Maintenance team. This is a full-time expat position at Simberi Operations. The roster is 21/14 FIFO from any Australian Capital City

Reporting to the Mobile Maintenance Superintendent, you will develop the Simberi mobile plant workshop for the safe and effective maintenance of the Simberi mobile fleet. In addition you will mentor, coach, and develop the Simberi local employees and maintenance supervisors and fitters.

The opportunity

  • Assisting in the development of the Training and Development programs to improve employee skill levels.
  • Providing engineering, maintenance and management expertise for the training of national employees.
  • Promoting safety to employees in all aspects of processing and maintenance.
  • Managing and controlling maintenance activities.
  • Immediately reporting and investigating incidents. 
  • Training, mentoring and developing the mobile maintenance team.

  • Heavy Vehicle Mechanical Trade Certificate
  • Significant relevant supervisory experience
  • Strong ability to work effectively within a team
  • Strong communication skills, including communicating with people from different backgrounds and cultures
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines on multiple tasks
  • High level of enthusiasm for the work with high performance goals
