We believe the success of our business comes from our people. We seek experienced industrial electricians to join the team that delivers various water and wastewater projects in the Greater Hunter Region and the opportunity to work across multiple project sites.

Key Responsibilities of the position are:

  • Complete a wide range of heavy industrial-type electrical (power, lighting and cable tray) activities.
  • Complete motor control and VSD installations 
  • Installation of power, lighting, and instrumentation.
  • Isolation, testing and commissioning activities.
  • Quality Assurance documentation
  • Fault finding of electrical works.
  • Deliver quality results without compromise to safety or the environment.
  • Timely completion of work activities, tasks and paperwork
  • Working under relevant safe systems of work, safety standards and procedures at all times

 The Right Person:

To be considered for this opportunity, you will have:

  • Worked on sewerage treatment of water treatment facilities, including pumping stations previously, or experience working in heavy industrial sites such as manufacturing, materials handling, Oil and Gas plants.
  • Valid Electrical Licence and trade qualifications.
  • Construction Safety White Card (or equivalent with another recognised State)
  • Strong problem-solving skills concerning technical fault finding.
  • Able to work in a team environment and support and assist team members when required.
  • Solid experience working in an industrial environment.
  • Experience working autonomously, take responsibility for the quality of deliverables and meeting deadlines without compromise to safety or the environment.
