Star Group is hiring skilled Electrical Technicians to support the Qantas Freight Terminal installation at the new Western Sydney Airport. This is an 18-month project involving large-scale warehouse electrical works.

What You’ll Be Working On:

• Electrical fit-out of a large warehouse with very high ceilings
• Installation of Main Switchboards (MSBs) and Distribution Boards (DBs)
• Extensive cable tray, basket tray, and conduit work
• Lighting systems and lighting circuits
• Power circuits and submains
• Installation and connection of a generator
• Comms cabling: both fibre and copper

What We’re Looking For

• Trade-qualified electricians or licensed electrical technicians
• Strong experience with commercial/industrial electrical installations
• Comfortable working at heights (EWP or working at heights ticket desirable)
• Safety-focused mindset and commitment to quality
• Ability to interpret plans and work to project deadlines

This position will be paid under the Sydney Service Enterprise Agreement. Upon successful completion of the project, there may be opportunities to transition into a permanent role within the Service Department, as well as potential to move across other business units within Star Group, allowing you to be part of new and innovative projects across the organisation.
