Join Star Group of Companies Australia as a Project Manager and deliver impactful electrical and infrastructure projects across Sydney’s Rail, Roads, and Water sectors.

This role combines hands-on project delivery with strong people leadership. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards. The role reports to the Construction Manager and leads a team of Site Managers, tradespeople, and a project coordinator.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver major electrical infrastructure works across large-scale Rail, Roads, and Water projects.
• Lead project delivery with a strong focus on health, safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
• Manage project budgets, procurement, subcontractors, and cost control to achieve financial targets.
• Coordinate labour resources and support site teams with effective workforce planning.
• Develop and manage project forecasts that are aligned with scope, budget, and timelines.
• Ensure that project documentation is accurate, compliant, and up-to-date.
• Provide regular reporting on progress, costs, risks, and key milestones
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in electrical project management or senior site management within infrastructure or construction environments
• Electrical Licence or relevant electrical trade qualification (highly regarded)
• Strong ability to read and interpret plans and effectively direct project teams
• Solid construction industry knowledge across multiple trades
• Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving capabilities
