As an Electrical Estimator, you'll report to managers in Sri Lanka and Sydney, accurately assessing projects to develop budgets aligned with client briefs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Complete estimates independently for Star Group bids and projects.
- Work effectively as part of a team.
- Deliver accurate and quality submissions for bids.
- Attention to detail in reviewing tender documentation and making accurate allowances.
- Deliver and manage tenders within tight deadlines.
- Estimating Design and construct tenders.
- Estimating across a number of disciplines including Electrical Construction, Fit-out, and Communications.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Electrical trade or Quantity Surveyor qualifications (essential).
- At least 5 years’ experience in previous estimating position in the electrical industry.
- Experience in using estimating software (preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders. Strong verbal and communication Skills in English is a must.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy over long periods.
- Experience with prioritizing and meeting deadlines with short notice.
