Expression of Interest: Electrical Project Manager – Shopping Centre Redevelopment

Star Group is a privately owned Electrical Contracting Group, specialising in service maintenance, electrical, data and communications, lighting and audio-visual products and services.

We’re now seeking expressions of interest from experienced Electrical Project Managers to lead the delivery of an exciting shopping centre redevelopment project in Sydney. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of end-to-end project delivery from planning through to completion while working with a supportive and collaborative team.

About the Role

As the Electrical Project Manager, you’ll oversee all aspects of small to medium-scale projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards. You’ll work closely with our project delivery team, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure successful outcomes across all phases of the project.

Key responsibilities include:

• Manage all aspects of project delivery, including planning, procurement, resourcing, and reporting
• Lead and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Oversee budgets, schedules, and quality assurance processes
• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle
• Ensure compliance with all safety requirements, quality, and company procedures

What You’ll Bring:

• Electrical trade or relevant qualifications in electrical construction.
• Strong experience in electrical small to medium projects management or site management (desirable).
• Strong expertise in reading and interpreting plans to assist the project team with direction.
• Strong ability to lead and project teams and build relationships with clients.
• Understanding of employment and Industrial Relations requirements on project sites.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve issues promptly.
