Star Group is offering an exciting opportunity for a Project Administrator / Document Controller to join our team supporting the Belmont Desalination Plant Project. What You’ll Do

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the project team to help achieve key milestones
  • Manage project documentation, registers, and document control systems in line with client and company requirements
  • Maintain and update project databases, including drawings, safety records, PPE, and equipment
  • Support timesheet processing and liaise with payroll to ensure accurate and timely submissions
  • Assist with invoicing, progress claims, reconciliations, and procurement administration
  • Prepare operating and maintenance manuals for project handover
  • Support quotation, variation, and tender documentation as required
  • Assist with safety administration, including inductions, incident reporting, and compliance documentation
  • Provide general office and reception support where required

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous administration experience in the construction or electrical industry (desirable)
  • White Card (required)
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • A motivated, detail-oriented individual ready to learn and grow.
  • Experience with invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, or financial administration
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • A flexible, proactive approach with the ability to support a busy project team
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
