Lead impactful projects across Sydney in Rail, Roads, and Water infrastructure. Drive successful project delivery while ensuring safety, quality, and client satisfaction.

Star Group is a privately owned Electrical Contracting Group specialising in electrical, data and communications, lighting and audio-visual products and services.

We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver key engineering and infrastructure projects. In this role, you'll ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget, while maintaining high standards of quality and client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:

  • Health & Safety: Ensure safety compliance, manage documentation, and promote a safety-focused culture on-site.
  • Budget & Financial Management: Monitor and control project budgets, procurement, and subcontractors to meet financial targets.
  • Workforce Management: Manage labor requirements, support site teams, and address any industrial relations issues.
  • Project Planning & Compliance: Develop and manage project plans, ensuring alignment with scope, budget, and timeline; monitor project documentation for compliance.
  • Project Reporting: Provide regular progress reports on budget, schedule, and project milestones to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Hold a valid Electrical License or relevant electrical trade qualification
  • Proven experience in electrical project management or site management (desirable).
  • Strong ability to read and interpret plans, directing the project team accordingly.
  • Strong construction industry knowledge based on a number of trades and be extremely competent in interpreting drawings.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve issues quickly and efficiently
