Our Opportunity
Star Group is offering an outstanding opportunity for the right candidate who is motivated to further their career with a Tier 1 electrical, communications and maintenance contractor. The Project Engineer will provide technical and engineering support to various Engineering and Infrastructure projects. You will be required to assist the Estimating teams with technical clarifications and supporting information, integrate as a part of a single Project Team for time periods and manage workloads across multiple Project Activities.
The Role
The Project Engineer will be an integral part of the EI project teams with a high level of attention to detail and customer service. The Project Engineer will be involved in multiple activities, which include document control, document review to ensure Quality Assurance and Quality Control, document implementation, data administration, assisting procurement for the project team and engineering advice for the project.
The key responsibilities include:
- Support Project team with engineering requirements.
- Work with internal and external design engineers to achieve project objectives.
- Provide design and drafting support.
- Assist the project in setting up Quality Assurance and Quality Control checks to meet Project requirements and in accordance with Australian standards.
- Assist with the completion of reports and data analysis for designs completed for the project.
The Qualifications & Experience We Are Seeking
- Previous experience in construction/engineering projects and industry.
- Engineering Diploma/certification would be desirable.
- Previous experience with Quality Assurance and Quality Control procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver under deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
