Job no: TFE99
Category: Director

About us

Curling Australia is the national sporting organisation recognised by the Australian Sports Commission and World Curling to govern, promote and develop curling throughout Australia.

Curling Australia is entering an important period of growth. The Australian Government has announced a record $513 million investment in Australian high-performance sport, delivered through the Australian Sports Commission. As part of this investment, Curling Australia will receive high-performance funding for the first time, contributing to a record investment in Australia's winter sports ahead of the French Alps 2030 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.

About the role

Against this backdrop and following a review of the Board's capability and future strategic requirements, Curling Australia is seeking expressions of interest from experienced leaders for appointment as an Appointed Director. Previous involvement in curling is not a requirement.

We welcome candidates who can bring fresh perspectives and contemporary governance expertise from business, government, the not-for-profit sector or sport.

For details on who we are looking for, and the skills required, refer to the Expression of Interest form below.

Eligibility

Applicants must satisfy the eligibility requirements for appointment as a Director under the Curling Australia Constitution and be willing to complete appropriate governance due diligence, including declaration of interests and referee checks.
