Capital Athletics is the home of athletics in the Australian Capital Territory and the surrounding region. Capital Athletics is affiliated with Little Athletics Australia and Athletics Australia and offers events and programs for all ages and abilities.
The Role
Capital Athletics is calling for nominations from individuals to fill three (3) Appointed Director positions with the following skills and experience:
- Legal and governance
- Commercial partnerships and sponsorship
- Finance, accounting and risk
- Information technology
- High performance and community sport
We strongly encourage nominations from:
- Female leaders
- People from diverse or minority backgrounds
- Anyone passionate about community sport and fair, inclusive environments

Nominations will be reviewed by a selection panel which will recommend the preferred candidate(s) for appointment as Board Appointed Directors in line with Clause 11.11 of the Constitution. Shortlisted candidates may be contacted for a follow up conversation.
