In accordance with the AUF Constitution, nominations are now invited from eligible individuals who wish to be considered for election as an Elected Director of Australian Underwater Federation with effect from the conclusion of the AUF Annual General Meeting (AGM) to be held on Saturday 31st October.

Criteria:

In accordance with the Constitution, the Nominations Committee must utilise a Skills Matrix as part of its assessment of nominees for Director vacancies. 

The five (5) identified preferred skills and experience set out below are in no particular order: 

• Roles within Sport
• Finance and Governance
• Audit and Risk Committee
• Sustainability, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

Nominations for the position of Elected Director open at 9:00 am on 31 August 2026 and close at 5:00 pm (AEST) on 6 September 2026.

Completed nomination forms, including the signed Consent to Act as a Director, Disclosure Form and any supporting documentation, must be submitted to the Returning Officer, Ray Horn, via email at dawesville18@hotmail.com by the closing deadline.

Please note that nominations submitted before the opening of nominations at 9:00 am on 31 August 2026 will not be accepted.
