Polocrosse Australia is seeking an experienced and passionate individual to contribute to the future governance of our sport.

As part of our ongoing commitment to governance excellence, we are calling for expressions of interest for an Independent Chair of the Nominations Committee.

The Nominations Committee assists the Polocrosse Australia Board by ensuring robust, transparent and merit-based processes for board recruitment, succession planning and governance, and comprises three members:

• an Independent Chair appointed by the Polocrosse Australia Board
• a Board Director appointed by the Polocrosse Australia Board
• a state representative nominated by the Voting Members (States).

The role

Expressions of Interest are now open for the role of Independent Chair.

The Independent Chair will provide leadership to the Committee, facilitate board recruitment processes and provide strategic advice to the Board on capability, succession planning and best-practice governance.

Applicants should have significant governance and leadership experience together with a demonstrated commitment to integrity, independence and contemporary governance.
