About us
Wheelchair Rugby Australia (WRA) is responsible for the development and growth of the sport in Australia. WRA is dedicated to providing athletes with a disability the opportunity to participate and excel in wheelchair rugby from grassroots to international competition.
The Role
WRA is actively recruiting for up to three (3) Board Directors.
This is an excellent opportunity to lead and guide the development and expansion of wheelchair rugby in Australia.
The Board is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified individuals with demonstrated experience and skills in one or more of the following:
- Government Relations
- Media, public relations and corporate
- Marketing (enhance targeting, predictive analytics, digital, online, AI based and machine learning)
Desirable skills but not mandatory:
- Sports governance
- Understanding of the Australian sporting landscape
An interest or experience in working with and for people with a disability is advantageous.
