Gridiron Victoria proudly serves as the governing body for American Football in Victoria. Our community spans nine vibrant clubs across metropolitan and regional areas, including Geelong, Gippsland, Bendigo, and Ballarat.
Gridiron Victoria is seeking passionate and committed individuals to join its Board as volunteer Directors and help shape the future of American Football across the state.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth, governance, and long-term sustainability of the sport. Board members play a critical role in setting strategic direction, strengthening governance, supporting clubs, and ensuring a positive and safe environment for all participants.
The Role:
As a Board member, you will:
- Provide strategic leadership and oversight
- Support the development and growth of the league
- Uphold strong governance and integrity standards
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive sporting community
This is a volunteer role and offers a unique opportunity to give back to the sport, build networks, and help drive the next phase of growth for Gridiron Victoria.
Criteria:
We are looking for individuals with a range of skills and experience, including governance, finance, legal, commercial, or sporting administration.
Prior experience in gridiron is welcomed but not essential.
Most importantly, we are seeking people who are collaborative, forward-thinking, and committed to making a meaningful contribution.
