Specifically, what are we looking for?

We want to hear from people excited to join us as Contracts Manager or Commercial Manager in our Commercial team.

As that part of our team, there are a few key deliverables. You’ll collaborate with clients across a broad range of construction-focused matters as part of a team. You’ll:

• Manage and support clients; be their trusted commercial advisor to deliver projects across the whole gamut of the project lifecycle, from bid phase to project delivery, project close out and claims support.
• Provide clear, practical and strategic commercial advice to construction teams, businesses or asset owners, including as an extension of their internal team.
• Compare, review and negotiate a wide variety of construction contracts and related agreements.
• Contribute to the development of processes, systems and delivery models to allow our team and our clients to deliver more, better.

You, your skills and experience

You are all those things, and you have arrived at these core beliefs because you are open minded, technically brilliant, and have:

• More than 5 years experience delivering projects as a contracts manager or senior contracts administrator.
• Experience reviewing, advising and negotiating contracts – ideally including all sorts of forms of construction contracts, bespoke agreements and deeds.
• Experience working with contractors, subcontractors, and principals (ideally including private sector clients and tier one contractors).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex contractual situations.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with experience engaging with senior executives, clients, and industry experts.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
