Who Are We?

Source Compliance is a national specialist provider of compliance and risk management services within the financial services sector. We're part of the HPX Group — a group of like-minded businesses focused on finding a better way, always.

We're not weighed down by bureaucracy or rigid hierarchies. Instead, we create an environment where people can be themselves, stretch their thinking, and grow alongside a team that genuinely supports each other.

What We’re Looking For

We’re on the lookout for a good human — someone who’s technically strong, commercially minded, and passionate about making a difference through their work. Specifically, we’re looking for a Compliance Manager or Senior Compliance Manager to help manage a portfolio of clients, primarily across wealth management, general insurance, and insurance broking.

What You’ll Have:

  • Strong experience as a Compliance Manager or Senior Compliance Manager, ideally from a compliance consultancy and/or within a financial advisory business.
  • Experience implementing, managing and/or updating AFSL compliance frameworks, monitoring programs and controls.
  • Strong knowledge of AML/CTF and AFSL legislation and regulatory requirements.
  • Delivers timely, practical, and high-quality advice to clients, while supporting the team to do the same.
  • Stays ahead of the curve by anticipating and responding to ongoing regulatory changes with a proactive mindset.
  • Knowledge of ASIC regulatory environments, AFS licensee obligations, and risk management.
  • Bonus points for experience in privacy, AML/CTF, and compliance committee reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management abilities.
  • A genuine desire to mentor others and add value to the team.
  • Integrity, strong ethics, and a collaborative mindset is a must here.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Managing a portfolio of clients and helping them meet their compliance obligations.
  • Advising clients on regulatory requirements, frameworks and controls.
  • Reviewing and guiding the work of junior team members.
  • Providing practical, outcome-driven advice across privacy, AML/CTF, risk and governance.
  • Preparing or reviewing compliance reporting for Compliance Committees.
  • Building strong, lasting client relationships.
  • Contributing to business development and identifying new opportunities.
  • Supporting the continuous improvement of our services and internal processes.
