We are looking for a Compliance Manager to assist in managing a portfolio of clients.

We’re looking for someone:

  • With strong experience as a Compliance Manager, ideally with a compliance consulting firm and/or within a funds management business.
  • Experience implementing, managing and/or updating AFSL compliance frameworks, compliance obligations, monitoring and/or controls.
  • With the desire to manage a portfolio of clients and assist them with meeting their compliance obligations.
  • Who welcomes collaboration and sharing of knowledge.
  • Happy to review work completed by team members, teach and add value where possible.
  • Experienced in the ASIC Regulatory environment as it applies to AFS and ACL licensee obligations.
  • Experienced in preparing and/or reviewing compliance reporting for Compliance Committees.
  • Some knowledge and experience in risk management systems, and monitoring of controls.
  • Additional experience in Privacy, AML/CTF and DDO is highly regarded.
  • Competent with Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong client and stakeholder relationship management and business development abilities.
  • With strong integrity and professional ethics.

What’s in it for you:

  • Assist a portfolio of clients to meet their compliance obligations, including quarterly reports, policy reviews, compliance advice, risk management frameworks, presenting to compliance committees, compliance training and audit support.
  • Ad hoc projects including Licensee and Product health checks, independent reviews of AML/CTF programs, AFS and AC Licence applications and variations and assisting new AFS licensees setup their compliance framework.
  • Work with a range of clients including large retail licensees and small boutique wholesale licensees across funds management; corporate advisory; and investment managers with the opportunity to be exposed to other client types like insurance providers and financial advice licensees.
  •  We manage clients in pairs (one primary and one secondary) so you will have the ongoing support of another team member.
  • Be mentored in a supportive environment, with access to quality work, great clients and professional development opportunities. 
  • Access to the knowledge and experience of 11 other compliance professionals located in Sydney and Brisbane.
  • Flexible working conditions – ability to work from home dependent on client and team commitments.
