Roving Caretaker

The opportunity

Arise Hotels & Apartments has a newly created Roving Caretaker position that will be based at one of our premier properties.

What we need from you

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in the Hotel Industry;
• Strata Accommodation experience;
• Conflict resolution skills;
• Time management skills;
• Open Drivers Licence
• Interpersonal skills;
• Trouble shooting skills;
• Interpersonal skills;
• Written and verbal communication skills;
• Experience using reservations systems such as Hirum or RMS 9+;
• Proficiency in another language besides English will be highly regarded.

What You’ll Be Doing

Duties and Responsibilities of the role is generally listed, but not limited to:

• Attend to after hour calls for the property.
• Respond to emergencies at property locations, travelling to these properties as required.
• Maintain the property to ensure immaculate presentation at all times.
• Resolve any maintenance or property related issues.
• Complete nightly checks of the hotel’s reports and data.
• Respond to Guest and Owner inquiries in a timely manner.
• Maintenance and cleaning tasks as required.
• Possible eviction of guests if necessary.
• Dealing with after hours issues or emergencies
