This opportunity is for someone with experience in sustainability, product stewardship and emissions monitoring & reporting who can commit to a six-month contract.

What is this role?

Helping to bring a sustainable business approach to our whole operation across New Zealand, this role has a strong emphasis on the environmental pillar, developing and leading our carbon neutral programme, end to end product stewardship and, ensuring a high standard of reporting and environmental compliance. The role is also about researching sustainability initiatives; technologies and trends (locally or globally relating to our industries) and assessing opportunities that Belron NZ could adopt or aspire to. 

 

So, are you interested? We’re keen to hear from you if you have:

  • Both passion for and experience in sustainability, environmental management and product stewardship
  • A good understanding of the most relevant and best practice corporate sustainability practice, nationally and internationally   
  • Experience partnering and influencing senior leaders to drive outcomes  
  • Excellent facilitation, collaboration and communication skills  
  • Ability to implement strategic priorities into action and ensuring ongoing measurement and performance.
  • Experience and understanding of sustainability/environmental reporting standards and  certifications requirements and management.
  • Research skills and can make recommendations that are supported and underpinned by critical analysis.
  • The ability to drive projects forward to delivery – and embedding them
