In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving complex automotive issues using advanced diagnostic tools, supporting both the efficiency and reputation of our workshop.
The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Officer to join the team at Prestons.
We are seeking a Customer Service professional, you will be assisting and supporting our wider team and managers with administration support and providing our customers updates regarding their vehicle repairs.
Role responsibilities
- Managing high-volume admin tasks
- Multitasking pro
- Greeting customers on arrival
- Booking jobs and allocating daily work flow to Technicians.
- Keeping our customers informed about the repair process and anticipated completion dates for their vehicles
- Contacting customer to ensure that they are satisfied with the AMA experience
- Telephone and email correspondence
- Supporting management with inventory (parts, paint, consumables etc)
- Liaise with insurance providers regarding claims/repairs

- Experience using IBody (not essential)
- Proven experience within a Customer Service position
- Highly professional and personable with strong relationship building skills
- Strong systems experience and competent computer abilities
- A proactive, can-do attitude
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to meet strict deadlines
- Able to work effectively and collaboratively with the team
- Minimum 2+ years in a high-volume customer service role
